Many IUD acceptors choose to stop use contraception because they don't accept side effects such as bleeding, and fear of interfering with sexual intercourse. Adequate information from professional health personnel, in the form of counseling, is a very important step in helping women choose the best contraceptive method and according to their needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education level and work period of midwives to the knowledge of midwives about IUD counseling.

The research method uses a quantitative approach with a crossectional design. The number of respondents was 124 midwives Public Health Center in Bandung. The sampling technique uses consecutive sampling. Measurement of IUD counseling knowledge using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability using the Rasch Model with alpha chron-bach 0.87 (Good). Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 chi-square.

The results of the study found that almost all of the 96% of respondents were lack of knowledge about counseling IUDs. The chi-square analysis results did not have a significant relationship between the level of education and knowledge of IUD counseling p = 0.548 (> 0.05). There is no significant relationship between the period of work with knowledge of IUD counseling p = 0.081 (> 0.05).

Communication and counseling have been included in the Midwifery Diploma III education curriculum, but the level of education does not have a significant relationship to the knowledge of midwives about IUD counseling. This shows that the learning process in educational institutions has not been able to produce midwives who have knowledge of IUD counseling as expected.
Ferina Ferina, Benny Hasan Purwara, Elsa Pudji Setiawati, Hadi Susiarno, Muniroh Abdurrahman, Hadyana Sukandar ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://journal-aipkind.or.id/index.php/SEAJoM/article/view/400 Wed, 10 Apr 2019 00:00:00 +0000 PERBANDINGAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENGETAHUAN TENTANG ASI EKSLUSIF ANTARA IBU YANG MELAHIRKAN DI BPM DENGAN PUSKESMAS http://journal-aipkind.or.id/index.php/SEAJoM/article/view/401
Mother's knowledge is one factor in the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Research in Ghana (2008), 1.3 million infant deaths can be prevented by the provision of breast milk (ASI) in infants from the first day of birth until under the age of 5 years. If breastfeeding starts in the first 1 hour after birth, This figure rises to 22% from 16%,. This study aims to determine the differences in knowledge about Exclusive Breastfeeding and the factors that influence it in post partum mothers in BPM with Puskesmas in the East Jakarta area. Research Design: Observational analytic study with the approach used is cross sectional. The results showed that there were significant differences (P = 0.001) between the place of labor and the knowledge of nursing mothers. Mothers who gave birth at the Good Knowledge Midwife Practice (PMB) were 78.6%, while those in the Puskesmas were only 38.5%. Characteristics of respondents related to knowledge of post partum mothers about breastfeeding were Education (P 0.01), Economy, (P 0.000) and ethnicity (P 0.019). Factors-education, economy and ethnicity influence mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. Place of birth in the Independent Practice Midwives have the opportunity to increase knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding 3 times compared to the knowledge of mothers who give birth at the Puskesmas after controlled by the Education variable.
Heriza Syam, Jehanara Jehanara, Nurdjasmi Nurdjasmi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://journal-aipkind.or.id/index.php/SEAJoM/article/view/401 Wed, 10 Apr 2019 00:00:00 +0000 FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PENGETAHUAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA TUNANETRA DI SALAH SATU PANTI SOSIAL JAKARTA TIMUR http://journal-aipkind.or.id/index.php/SEAJoM/article/view/402
Blind people are also classified according to the time of intimacy.
